Just got official word (and when I say official word, I mean SN deletion without warning!) that Dane's former SL is over. Which means, I'll be adding some things to his character sheet here shortly within the next couple of days.. after I write out how it happened, etc, etc. I'm sure it'll be nitty, gritty, and full of blood, bullets, and fast cars.

With that said, I'm proposing the idea of introducing - not just a reference to - but an actual group of Irish mobsters. Dane would fit in, given the fact that his family is Irish and is currently set in Ireland. He'd be at least "known" by the branch in NYC.

This opens up numerous other opportunities, as Dane was hired in a round-about way to play protector to a girl who - as aforementioned - is now deceased. I'm certain he can multitask-- bodyguard, assassin, and hunter, given his skillset.

Now all we'd have to do is form the mafia/mob, who's the mafioso, and a figurative chain of command of sorts. What their objectives are, other than 'running' their quarter of the state. If anyone wants to help set this up, lem'me know. Else I'll just go on a brain explosion whim and write up an agenda eventually. Lol.

And yes. Yes, I'm bitter over the whole SN deletion thing-- but how better to move a character forward, than write out the bad, right?

I've only mentioned the Irish mob; one of their people hangs in the Murphy's Law pub.

Other than that .. go for it. Do what you want with the mob. Take them and mold them into your own creation so that Dane can fit RIGHT in!
